Dear Chapter Members

Welcome to an active PMI Milwaukee Chapter in 2022. The Board of Directors has been meeting and onboarding new volunteers for the year. There is still time, and there is still room to indicate your interest in a volunteer position.

By way of volunteerism, we have our annual Professional Development Day (PDD) scheduled for October 18, 2022, at the Italian Community Center, and we are paving the way to recruit additional volunteers for the various committees. Rodney Sutrick is our VP of Programs and is working diligently to fill the volunteer slots for our PDD.

Networking is a significant component of our chapter, and we look forward to ideas and suggestions from our members. This year, we have been very successful with virtual meetings as the COVID-19 ebbs and flows depending on the source of information. It can still be quite profound to determine when it is safe to unmask or meet in person.

Please remember that volunteerism is what makes any chapter progressive. Sometimes it is difficult to identify the right people for volunteer positions. The PMI Milwaukee chapter is 100% volunteer-run. If you are interested in sharing your experience and talent to give back to the profession, we still seek talented members to join our team. Here are some of the significant areas where we still need support:

- Social Media Expertise

- Event planning, setup, and logistics

- Website design and maintenance

- Community Outreach

- Communications

- Chapter Operations

- Chapter Strategic Planning

Please consider providing input to the new Board members about your various interests in volunteering to serve.

Best regards,

Doug McCall, PMP

PMI SE Wisconsin Chapter President 2021 - 2022

CAPM and PMP Study Group Program

Thank you for your interest in the PMI Milwaukee Chapter Study Group. This FREE service is provided to PMI Milwaukee chapter members interested in forming a study group to help in their preparation for the PMP Certification exam. The Study Group Coordinator will facilitate a group of about 10 who work or live in a common area of town. The study group will then decide on times and locations to meet. If you would like more information, please submit the required information below and someone will contact you shortly. Please note that due to the recent change in the PMP exam, study groups will focus on the PMBOK® Guide – Sixth Edition.
