President’s Message to the Members - Feb 2023

In January, we held our first “New Member Orientation” meeting in over 2 years, had our first meetings for 2023 PDD Planning, opened a 2023 PDD survey (see link in the box to the right), started a new study group, started “PM in the AM” speakers opportunities to our chapter members and opened several new volunteer activities.

In February, we are putting the finishing touches on the 2023 GALA (rescheduled from December 2022) held at Discovery World in Milwaukee on March 3rd. We encourage all chapter members and volunteers to sign up and attend; this is an annual event we put on to appreciate our volunteers! '

Members of our chapter will soon have the ability to fill a survey to help our programs team better schedule events for the entire year, including virtual or potential face to face if there is a strong interest for it.

We have added more information to the website under the "Get involved" main menu option to provide further visibility to members who are interested to volunteer in a variety of positions or express your interest. Our VP of volunteers will review your information and get back to you.

Finally we are starting board conversations about what we want to offer this year in respect to PDD. This will likely based on the output of the programs survey as well as lessons learned from last year PDD.
