Join us for an educational and very interesting conversation with Dr. Jim Bohn, author, professor, and national speaker in the Fortune 500 arena on organizations and the things that help them to navigate change on any number of levels.
Dr. Jim Bohn has organizational expertise and insight from decades of successfully leading leaders and business savvy derived from observing the organizational behavior of multiple Fortune 500 organizations. He has taught as an adjunct at UWM, Marquette and Concordia, and has spoken at conferences and workshops throughout the U.S.Dr. Jim Bohn has organizational expertise and insight from decades of successfully leading leaders and business savvy derived from observing the organizational behavior of multiple Fortune 500 organizations.
He has taught as an adjunct at UWM, Marquette and Concordia, and has spoken at conferences and workshops throughout the U.S.Retiring after several decades with Johnson Controls, Dr. Bohn launched his Change Management and Organizational Transformation Practice. Dr. Bohn has a unique blend of hands-on, in-the-trenches experience in addition to peer-reviewed research. His research on Organizational Efficacy is groundbreaking and has been translated into multiple languages.
He is considered an expert on organizational change and his book “Architects of Change: Practical Tools for Executives to Build, Lead and Sustain Organizational Initiatives” was endorsed by G.E., Walgreens, Lowe’s, and Comfort Systems USA, among others. Dr. Bohn’s second book, “The Nuts and Bolts of Leadership”, was endorsed by Sodexo and the Water Council of Milwaukee. In 2017 he authored a book entitled “Getting I.T. Right: Installing the organizational App”. His most recent book is entitled “If your water cooler could talk” – Getting beyond employee engagement.
In addition to his published research, his teaching at UWM, Concordia, and Marquette, along with his work in organizational transformation, he has spoken at the Milwaukee Business Journal, the National Academy of Change Management Professionals, and led workshops for SHRP and Wisconsin I/O Psychologists, ASTD-Twin Cities, MNCMN, MNODN, Atlanta Field Service Conference, Metro Milwaukee SHRM Annual Conference, SHRM SIGS, IFMA Twin Cities and the Chicago Corenet Real Estate Group among others, including PMI International, Minnesota PMI, the Volunteer Center of Ozaukee County, OFB, National Association of Credit Managers, The Neenah Police Department, the Plant Facilities Management Association, and PRSA along with multiple corporations across Southeast Wisconsin including Johnson Controls, Kohler, QPS and GPS Education Partners, the Medical College of Wisconsin, VISTAGE, VERLO, and many others.
