Stacey Murphy is a seasoned facilitator, executive coach, keynote speaker, and HR consultant with a strong track record in leadership development, talent management, HR operations, and total rewards. She is the founder of SMA | Stacey Murphy & Associates, a leadership coaching and consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations and individuals unlock their highest potential through business-focused people strategies and tailored development solutions.

 

Stacey has held influential HR leadership roles at organizations including MGIC, Associated Bank, BMO Harris, and M&I Bank. Throughout her career, she has successfully aligned talent strategies with business goals, fostering cultures of growth, innovation, and agility.

Renowned for her coaching expertise, Stacey empowers leaders and teams to reach new levels of performance, creating lasting impact for both individuals and organizations.

In addition to her consulting work, Stacey serves as an instructor at the University of Wisconsin–Madison Continuing Studies and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee School of Continuing Education, where she brings practical, real-world insights to professionals committed to growth and lifelong learning.

Stacey holds an Executive MBA from the University of Wisconsin– Madison and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business Administration from Lakeland University in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
