Presentation Title:A Lesson in Project Optimization

Speaker Bio:

Monica Weggeman, PMP, CISSP, CISA, CIA, HITRUST CCSFP, is a Consulting Manager for Baker Tilly out of the Milwaukee, WI office. She specializes in attestation engagements, specifically, System and Organization Controls (SOC 1 and SOC 2) reporting, NIST assessments, and HITRUST validations. Monica has been in the risk space for over 15 years, and part of the PMI-Milwaukee community for several years. She is also an active volunteer in the community; IIA Milwaukee member, Treasurer of ISACA Milwaukee, and serves on the voting board for the Wisconsin Humane Society. In her free time, Monica is an avid reader and likes to spend time with her two children and husband in Mequon.

Presentation Description:

As project managers, we have all had moments of discouragement working on complex projects and wondering if there was a better way. When the idea sparks, what can you do with it? What challenges can be overcome and when should you ask for help? In her presentation, Monica will share her journey from an idea to an enterprise-wide project management collaboration tool.
