Presentation Description:
Project managers are tired of being the messengers of "late." Whether you are running a traditional Waterfall project or a high-velocity Agile team, the stakeholders’ primary demand remains the same: a delivery date they can actually trust. Stop guessing with story points and start leveraging the math of predictability. In this remote, interactive session, we move beyond "gut feel" to explore Evidence-Based Management (EBM) and Monte Carlo simulations. You will learn how to turn historical flow metrics into a probabilistic forecast that accounts for risk and variability. We will simulate real-world delivery using a dice-based Monte Carlo exercise to show exactly how WIP limits and innovation rates impact your ability to finish what you start
